So, we decided to finally get away for a night and go to Grand Bear Lodge.
It is an indoor water park with an indoor amusement park, mini golf, and a little pizza/bar area. I just finished school for the summer and we have had several really busy weekends and have several more coming up, so we decided Sunday was a good time to go. I'm glad we did, we had a great time!Here are some pics. The one of th
e pool was taken through glass, so it's a little foggy. There are two waterslides in the very back (the "hole" in the middle of the wall). There are four flights of stairs you have to go up to get to the top (not easy for a fat girl! ;) but well worth it. You go really fast down the slide and really get tossed around. Dan thought they were pretty cool too (imagine that, Dan thinking speed is fun!) He was also pretty taken with the architecture and how they used these gigantic tree logs everywhere. The pictures don't really do them justice, they are enormous!A big thanks to Gammy for looking after Lightning Bug while we were gone!
